The Women’s Ministry at LakeRidge Baptist exists to help connect the women of our church in fellowship through Bible study and other meaningful activities. Every lady at LakeRidge is encouraged to be involved in Bible study, personal evangelism, missions and Christian education
“Beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.” 2 Peter 1:5-7
Women's Bible Study
The Women’s Bible Study which was being held on Wednesday evenings has been suspended for now due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Below are a few of the resources LakeRidge ladies have studied:
"Believing God: Experiencing a Fresh Explosion of Faith" by Beth Moore
Based on Isaiah 43:10, Beth explores what it means not only “to believe in God” but “to believe Him”, She encourages women to deepen their own trust in God and receive a fresh word from Him.
"Reedeming Love" by Francine Rivers
A powerful retelling of the story of Gomer and Hosea. “Redeeming Love” is a life-changing story of God’s unconditional, redemptive and all-consuming love.
"Uninvited: Living Loved When you Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely by Lysa Terkeurst
In “Uninvited”, Lysa shares her own personal experiences of rejection. The roots of rejection are examined as well as rejection’s ability to poison relationships.
Women's Exercise Class
The women’s exercise class which was being held each Thursday in the church gym has been suspended for now.
Other events where women can be involved include:
