The purpose of Good News Club® is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.  There are other Good News Clubs that meet at various schools throughout Lubbock.

Our church members work together volunteering their time and energy weekly to teach at the Good News Club.  They are trained by Child Evangelism Fellowship to have a club that is exciting and informative so that children will want to attend.  Volunteers who cannot be onsite for club meetings provide refreshments and memory-verse aids.  Additional volunteers are always welcome.

Our church has supported the Good News Club at Miller Elementary for several years.  We view our involvement in reaching children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ as both an outreach ministry and local missions.  Many children have believed the Gospel and professed Christ as their Savior through participating in the Good News Club.  Our volunteers can all attest to the statement that, “there is nothing more beautiful than to see an understanding of the Gospel dawn on the face of a child.”
